For nearly 20,000 Northwest foster children, each day presents new challenges. Many children are placed in care suddenly and must leave home with only the clothes on their backs. Others are relocated multiple times and must struggle to catch up in a new school. Foster families face the challenge of quickly replenishing essential items such as warm winter clothing, school supplies and shoes to fit growing feet.
That’s why Sleep Country founded the Sleep Country Foster Kids program — to provide much-needed support and essential items for foster children and their families. With help from the community and our outstanding non-profit foster care organizations, we are making a positive impact in the lives of thousands of Northwest foster children!
While the focus of our collection drives changes throughout the year, the Sleep Country Foster Kids program gladly continues to accept in-kind donations after a drive has ended.
Sleep Country’s Toy Drive Collected Nearly 27,500 Toys!
We’re proud to announce that our 2014 Toy Drive collected nearly 27,500 toys for foster children in the Pacific Northwest! Thank you to all who donated and to those who hosted their own Sleep Country Foster Kids Toy Drives.
Sleep Country knows, not everyone can be a foster parent, but anyone can help a foster child.™
